The double clip system
FCA double clippers are nowadays found in almost every meat-processing plant of the meat-processing industry. The core is the voiding separator system and the double clipping method.
The procedure: Ejection of accurate gram portions from a filling machine triggers the clipping signal. The casing is voided within milliseconds and squeezed clean in the closure area. The machine has a few further milliseconds to “close two clips” during which the sausage tail and the beginning of the next portion can be clipped simultaneously. Depending on the calibre, this allows production of up to 300 portions per minute. The original R-clip closure ensured that Poly-clip System became the pioneer for continuous and hence industrial closure of sausages, it revolutionised the global production of sausages and it represented the foundation of today’s global leadership of the company.
Poly-clip System is the world leader of clip system solutions and stands for innovation, reliability and safety. The product and service system includes a large number of innovative solutions comprising clip machines, packaging machines and automation thereof, as well as consumables such as clips and loops.
